Making a 4" Bog Oak Smoother.

This wonderful piece of bog oak is just big enough to make 2 4" smoothers.

The 2 little end grain pieces on the right were the only bits of wood to spare.

I did the markings on the wood with a fine gold pen and I was really pleased with the results, it ment i could see the pencil lines.

The finished plane, I am really pleased with it.
